We are extremely pleased to announce that after 3 years of planning and fundraising for the redevelopment of our pitch in Cambuslang, the works are due to start on Monday 25th April 2022.

Following the restructuring of the club committee in January 2019, the committee and coaches have always been fully focused on building the club both on and off the pitch. Since then we have more than doubled our underage section of the club, and recently started the ladies team to join the adult mens team. Our long term goal was always to create a home and playing surface to ensure the club has a proper base for the first time in our 28 year history allowing us to focus on building the next generation of Gaelic football players in Glasgow.

The first thing the club set about doing in 2019 after the restructuring of the club was to join forces with the Cambuslang Rugby & Sports Club. Since then our relationship has gone from strength to strength and we look forward to ensuring a successful long term partnership at the multi sport facility.

The works will involve redevelopment of the existing drainage, erection of perimeter spectator fencing, new goal posts and high level GAA netting behind both goals.

Fundraising for such a project was never going to be easy, but was made even harder following the Covid 19 pandemic, so it is testament to all our members, players, coaches, sponsors, community partners and committee who have helped the club achieve our target and continued growth during this time.

We look forward to the completion of the works, expected by August 2022, then hosting many Gaelic Football matches and club events long into the future.
